A.G. Hammond
Singer / Songwriter / Producer Allison “A.G.” Hammond was born in Asheville, North Carolina. She grew up in an artistic and musical family. She played violin for nine years and some piano. She has a degree in commercial graphics, and a U.S. Army broadcast journalism and photography degree. She was nominated for a Grammy and has been a performer since she was a little child. She has opened shows for Rappers Craig Mack and Two Short, R&B Chanteuse Alyson Williams and R&B Crooner Tony Terry. She has been a show promoter in Memphis, TN and Atlanta, Ga. A.G. also performed overseas and with the USO and was also a local radio DJ in the Army. She is a Domestic Violence Survivor volunteering her time to help other survivors and is part of a DV organization called “Voices”. She created what she has named an “Autonomous Awareness Promotional Engine (AAPE)”TM called “Verbal Purple”TM. Its mission is to create events for the receipt of donations for domestic violence, sexual abuse, and other DV-connected mental health organizations.
Brooks Butler
Brooks Butler has been playing guitar in the Western N.C. band scene since the early 1990’s. He is currently the guitarist in the “BoneEvil Blues Band” and fronts “The Monkey Club”, his acoustic electric party band and enjoys supporting other musicians as a backing guitarist. He is also a local music teacher. His playing style reflects his wide array of influences, from classic rock and jazz to blues and mountain music.
