Put on your dancing shoes! Armadilla returns to ignite the stage of One World West on Saturday, August 19th at 9pm with angelic harmonies and soulfully energetic piano rock magic.

The band will perform a mix of original songs from their latest album “Buttercup,” as well as new unreleased material and covers of millennial indie classics from artists such as the Strokes, Modest Mouse, Radiohead and more – all of which will cause pleasantly involuntary sways, twirls, jumps and foot stomps on the part of the audience.

“It’s so great to return to One World West. I’ve got so many fond memories of playing there,” says Galen Stickels, vocalist and keyboardist. “It reminds me of great memories during our time as friends and bandmates. There’s such a great atmosphere and amazingly supportive patrons. We can’t wait to show off some new music.”

Proceeds will go to supporting the band, recording their new album and funding a tour. Whistle-wetting liquor, beer, wine and non-alcoholic options will be available at the bar and a food truck will be parked on-site.

“Not only are these boys amazing musicians, but all around nice people with a fun energy. All their great qualities shine through on stage and are infectious,” says Will DuRant, super-fan and friend of many years.

Armadilla stars the talents of Galen Stickels (vocals, keyboard), Harrison Johnston (guitar, vocals), Hagen Johnston (drums), and Chris Wallen (bass), all of whom grew up in Western North Carolina and have been lifelong friends since childhood. The band formed in 2015 and have released multiple singles, music videos and albums since their conception.
