Review of album Asheville Fiddler

“John Duncan’s new album is an informed, fresh take on a great selection of classic old- time and Celtic melodies. Crisp, soulful, and honest expression shine thru delivered via pulsing, groovy fiddling with the perfect amount of improvisation sparkle. I’ve listened several times and the album continues to draw me in with it’s delicate attention to detail and a warm, inviting, mix/production. I hear joy, focus, unity, and love when I listen. I also hear the North Carolina Mountains.” -Bobby Britt
