In 2021, Brother Fat came together to play a memorial show for Count M’Butu, Grammy Award winner, mentor and friend. They adopted a former nickname of his as their band name.
Brother Fat is a collective of musicians from around the southeast, all involved in separate music projects, and all at the top of their game! They are FUNKY, TRIPPY, and IMPROVISATIONAL, and will have you up and grooving on your feet!
