Drip A Silver began their career as the house band for a Grateful Dead jam in downtown Asheville. They quickly felt a connection to the music and each other and decided to make it official. A few years and a couple members later, Drip enjoys membership in the thriving Grateful Dead scene Asheville has fostered. Look forward to deep jams and classics from all of the era’s, plus some of our favorite tunes from other catalogues.  Drip A Silver is made up of a multi-generational collection of Jerry lovers. Steve Griffin’s (Drum Kit) first grateful dead show was on 7/12/70, while Andrew Salow (Keyboards) had not yet been born when Jerry passed. Filling out the band is Eric Plotkin (Guitar), Jeff Ruby (Bass), Steve Kemble (Percussions) and Garrett Andrews (Guitar). We love exploring all the musical spaces of this genre and making people DANCE! We sincerely look forward to playing, dancing and chatting with you all~
