Squatch is led by North Carolina songwriter Mat Masterson. His skillful lyrical prowess shines, and yet leaves plenty of room for the world class musicians in the band to bring the house down. The songs are steeped in the joys and sorrows of growing up in the Blue Ridge Mountains, traveling the world to escape them, and eventually landing right back at home to focus on family and community.
