Purchase TicketsThe JLloyd Mashup is a collaboration of musicians coming together from different musical backgrounds and projects to connect on a night of music including Soul, Funk, Acid Jazz, Reggae, Afrobeat… and whatever else the vibe may bring. Curated by Jonathan Lloyd of Cadillac Jones/Dubconscious.
This show features singers, Datrian Johnson of Free Radio and Jesse Barry (Jesse Barry & The Jam). We also have two of the Terminus Horns, Justin Powell and Umcolisi Terrell, on Trumpet and Sax joining the night from Atlanta. The Terminus Horns are the horn section for many great bands on the scene including the Floozies. In addition, another ATLien, Chris Otts will be joining the night on Sax completing the 4 piece horn section!

Jonathan Lloyd started The JLloyd MashUp in 2012 in Atlanta, GA. It has featured different lineups including Grant Green Jr., Little Jon Roberts, Ted Pecchio, Khari Cabral Simmons, Kebbi Williams and many more. Jonathan moved to Asheville in June of 2020 and is now bringing the collaboration to Asheville.
From Atlanta, Ga, JLloyd leads his own Rocksteady/Ska/Reggae band, Lloyd’s Rocksteady Revue, featuring members from Culture, Midnite, Mishka and Israel Vibration. He has worked with The New Mastersounds, Dumpstaphunk and has sat in with countless groups including Snarky Puppy, Ghostnote, Galactic, Ozomatli, Lettuce, Orgone, Manu Chau, Roosevelt Collier, members of The Funky Meters, among many others.
