A.G. Hammond & Ovadya

April 17 8:00 pm - 12:00 am

AG Hammond

Coming to the stage of One World West is the versatile singer A.G. Hammond. As a native sister of Asheville, the experience and sensibilities in her voice bring out the soul of each song, a blend of Jazz, Blues, Pop & R&B. With a career that stretches over 40 years, A.G.’s accolades include a Grammy nomination and the opening act for countless Blues and R&B artists like Alyson Williams and Tony Terry. As a U.S. Army soldier, she performed for families of 9/11 victims, alongside the USO, and for troops in Bosnia. Beyond her career in music, A.G. is a Mother of 4, an accomplished graphic designer and journalist, as well as the founder of Verbal Purple, a company that supports organizations that focus on domestic violence, sexual abuse and sex trafficking. Come to One World West and listen to this dynamic woman who will lift your hearts and your soul.
