Common Sound is a new musical project based in Asheville, NC featuring some of the area’s finest working musicians. Led by Irish Flute player Joseph Marino, the group is focused on promoting unity through the traditional dance music styles of various cultures. With staple Asheville musicians Joe Enright (percussion), Steven Alvarez (guitar), and Quinn Sternberg (bass), the group creates a lively environment of music and dance which emphasizes the commonality between peoples and encourages the breaking down of barriers to express our shared humanity.
