Peggy’s February 2025 inception of the Invitational Blues Showcases features two stalwart local female musicians. Bass player, Kim Butler has been wowing audiences since moving here right before the pandemic in 2020. Robin Borthwick’s been beating her drums for decades in this area and both of them most recently with Sal Landers Party RX Weirdly Woodstock dance band! Both participants in all the major local festivals for the past several years, you’ll find either one of them in many different projects: Company Swing, The LADS of Avl as well as the Party RX troupe.
